Hallo friends,

October has just started so it's time for September Diary!

At the end of August (on 29th) we went back to school! This is our last term, actually will is a two months term and, in any case, is the last of the year so we are pushing the students to finish the program. Moreover the school will host a big event and I've been involved in preparing some things. I've started the school with a lot of enthusiasm and ready for the new adventures. This enthusiasm has been challenged by many things like Giovanni not sleeping during the night, miss communications and so on. But the enthusiasm remained and once we started everything went back on its place. The most beautiful things that happened in school last month have been an activity we prepared for preschool children (on Thursday I'll share it with you in a new blog post) and card-making activity. This last one has been incredible because there have been a wonderful team work with all the teachers of the school, we moved tables outside and the whole school was crafting after a warm sun and the Jacaranda shadows. But the most beautiful thing was not (only) the children's smile but the teacher's joy; the really had fun and so the children, looking at them, become enthusiast!

Giovanni is growing so fast that I can't believe. Now is showing us his preferences and things he really love to do. First of all he has become a perfect assistant. We enjoyed cooking (he actually has to taste all the ingredients to check if they are fine and nice), crafting (he helps me a lot with embellishments, paint and so on) and cleaning the house. With the father now they have a special moment doing carpentry. To encourage him with this new passion we found some plastic toys like screwdriver, hammers and so on. Giovanni is so enthusiastic about it, he can spend minutes screwing, hammering and sawing.

Cicciobis loves even to climb and he is using different items (boxes, chairs, etc) to reach the places he wants. Another amazing thing is he has friends; not that before he didn't have but was not showing a clear preference. Now he has and he follows his friends up and down and he feels comfortable with them.

About my creative work I'm working a lot on different aspects. The first is production I need to have items on stock not only making thing on demand. This because I'm preparing myself for new adventures and I need to mix the personalized items to some things I've always ready. Then I've started to "study" about marketing, how to promote and share in the right way the things I make; behind every craft or creation there is always a story, a care and a work that needs to be shared (because this is the way I discover what I like and is worth to e shared). So I'm following some crafter (mostly on Instagram) to learn how to share these stories and how to arrange the photos (and this is the dramatic part!!). On the other side I (with my Saint cousin) am changing the logo and making some other stuffs (can-t share with you yet).

Lastly with the visit of my mom and sisters I got so many new tools that I'm still learning how to use them. Mostly I felt in love with some tamps by Lawn Fawn with Savannah animals; I like them so much that I made cards and keyholders for days!

Well this is all, I think I summarized the most important things of the past month.

Ah not to forget I'm trying to organize myself a bit more. Now I'll post every Monday and Thursdays (hopefully i'll try!!).

See you at the next post and have a wonderful time!

Marty
