How we survive to ourselves

This is a question my sister asked during a skype: ho do you survive to yourselves?

If you are asking yourself why I didn't write anything in the past weeks (not a month yet) here are few reasons:

As I already mentioned we started introducing solid foods. What I didn't say is that our fridge abbandoned us. This mean that I had first to cook all the meat, ham etc I had stored in the freezer. The kitchen seemed a baby food factory, the house was smelling of stock (and still does) and I had to use a lot of creativity transforming anything around in a freezer container. I googled and found this bright idea of using the ice cubes plastic containerto store meat. Then we packed everything and took to a good friend who still has all our food in her freezer. Often we go to her house for shopping. Anoher consequence is to shop fresh fruits and veges every day and prepare stock and baby food every day. I have become an expert in making stock and creating baby food. Desperately we called Samsung tecnichians who took our fridge and up to today we have no news.....maybe one day they will call us aking for a ransom.

As if that was not enough even the car abbandoned us. After some misadventures the engine started leaking with oil. I think the car and the fridge conspire against us because every time one is broken the other one follows suit.... so this is a drama but....we are surviving even this.

Giovanni is growing and.... started to crawl! This is really a good news because he is enthusiastic about going around, discovering any hidden small object in the house, looking for places to climb. But his favorite activity is try to get out of the door. Yes here in Kenya you can leave the door open (of course if you are in a safe and queit place as we are!) and Giovanni always trying to run out. The one small thing he has not understood yet (and this saves me!) is that it is better not to shout like the Last of the Mohichans going to the step in front of the door! So stopping Giovanni is my hobby in the free time.

Lastly (but not least) I had a lot of work for Valentine. Yes me too I don't really love this feast but....business is business...so I made some items, launching my new activity and was not that bad. Here some of my creations....but to know better what I'm doing stay tuned for next post on my craft adventure.

All right now I go...I promise I'll try to write more oftenly!

Hugs.
