Creative Recycling: how to transform a notebook

Hallo Friends,

Here we are with a new post. The past month I've created very many things that can't wait to share with you.

Here the first (and actually I'm very happy about it). In May there was a coca cola's promotion in the supermarkets: buy two sodas get a notebook free. I couldn't resist because I love sodas and I love stationeries . So I got few exercise-books (all the same) and I decided to decorate/ personalize them.

Here is how I made one: I painted the cover with white acrylic paint (not adding any water to make it thick and able to cover well the image). I coloured a doily paper and cut half. Before gluing it I splashed some watercolours with a brush. Than I decorated it with some chipboard hearts decorated with vellum, embossed paper and one coloured with blu acrylic paint. Finally I decorated with the sentence "Colour your life" cutting the letters from a heavy cardstock that I painted with watercolours.

This is the final creation and with it I take part of the Scrap Dreams contest. Hope you like it and see you soon!!
