June Diary

Hallo Friends!!

June is finish (yes I know I'm late, as usual!) so here we are with the monthly diary.

The cold season started and clouds, rain and cool temperature transformed me in a rodent who wants to spend its life under the duvet sleeping. I think this transformation rubbed off Giovanni who started to take long naps in the mornings. Despite the temperatures are not going above 13 degrees this year I feel more the "cold", I think is a side effect of the Kenyanization.

The first weeks of June we had parties: Mr. Kingo and Giovannino celebrated their birthdays and of course we had a party for the small one who turned 1 year (you can read the post here).

Speaking about the small boy now he is able to walk, actually to run. This month he perfected the ability to climb around the house, on the sofa, on the cupboard. Toys and games are not really interesting; the attention lasts at least 5 seconds and after get ready to run around! The books always save us, reading is the only activity that catch his attention.

Work, has been a month full of work. The collaboration in the school goes on. It' very beautiful be back in a school, I really missed the relationship with the children, who are always ready to see the essential in every situation. With the teachers is growing a relationship that I hope will take us far. Thanks to this experience I've been able to be more "brave" and start to go around by myself with matatu and public means. Now I'm feeling very secure going around and actually I've to say that so far I've always met kind people who helped me find remote places.

Blog: I had some time more tor write..but you may notice that the English changed a bit...Yes because before my husband was correcting the English version of the posts. Being both of us very busy to correct the posts was becoming a long process so I decided to write and post. A friend of mine (a wise friend of mine) once told me that the best way to learn how to write in English i to write...so please be patient and kind.
