Hallo People,

Today is Sunday and we are ready for our new 5 DIYs.

We hope you've checked our Facebook

Page in order to discover the shopping list. If not here we are!

Salt Dough

Play with clay is so fun for children. Here we share with you a simple recipe to make your own clay. It is edible so it's perfect to be used with small children and toddlers.

Mix together 2 cups of flour, one cup of warm water and 1 cup of salt. Mix up to when you’ll have a smooth dough not so sticky. If it’s too wet add more flour.

Now you can start manipulate it. You can use a roller pin to make it flat and then use the cookies cutters to cut shapes. Or children can make small balls and shapes to compose their own small sculptures.

Once you are satisfied with your creations you can bake in the oven or put under the sun to dry (it will take longer). What we love about this dough is you can see like smalls crystals and it shines. You can colour it with paints or leave it plain.

Moon Dough

If your children love sand this is the right craft for you. Mix 1 part of oil (it can be cooking oil or baby oil, in this case the dough will be perfumed) with 8 parts of flour and you will have your moon dough.

What we suggest is to put it on a big basin or container such that your children will be able to play with it making castles using glasses and cups or manipulating it.

What is fantastic about this dough is that doesn’t dry, since it’s made with oil, so you can use it may many times.

Paper village

With this craft you will be able to build your own village and we are sure your children will entertain themselves for days with it.

Take an empty flour packet and turn it inside out. Use one sheet of paper and cut in the half. This will be our roof so you can start to colour it and draw the shape of tiles. Now take the other half and cut out a big rectangle (this will be the door) and two small ones (will be the windows).

Once you’ve coloured them glue on the folded bag. Here you have your house. Now make many to have a village!!

Paper container

If you want to make a smart container for your toys, your treasurers or your colours, this is your tutorial.

Turn inside out your flour packet and fold the upper edge. You’ve your paper container.

Now decorate it colouring it and drawing on it.

Savanna Puppets

Do you love animals? Here we teach you how to make your own with an empty packet of flour.

We decided to show you how to make a lion but you can make all the wild animals.

Turn your flour packet inside and colour it with brown paint.

Once is dry draw with a felt pen the face and make two small holes on the sides.

Now place you hand inside your puppet and start having fun.

We hope you are going to have fun with these crafts. Share with us your masterpieces and we will be so happy to share.

Now don't forget to connect on FRIDAY for our craft kits for kids, on SATURDAY on our facebook page for the shopping list and on SUNDAY for next tutorial.

Happy Crafting!!!
